Sri Vishvesha Tirtha is the 32nd pontiff in the lineage of the Pejavara matha, starting from Sri Adhokshaja Tirtha, who was one of the direct disciples of Sri Madhvacharya. All Kerala Udupi Madhwa Brahmin’s Youth Movement (AKUMBYM)

The need of forming a Youth Organization came to our mind in way back 2003. UMBS with the able leadership of Shri.B.Girirajan expressed his concerns on the youth of Madhwa Brahmins over the activities happening in various branches of Kerala. It happened in July 18th 2004.All Kerala Udupi Madhwa Brahmin’s Youth Movement (AKUMBYM) was formed by Madhwa youths to Unite and work together with the sole aim to facilitate the well being of our young generation. With the support of the various units, the Central committee of the AKUMBYM was formed in the Cultural Capital of Kerala, Tripunithura, the royal town. The association has been registered as No. E.R.654/09 under the Travancore Cochin Literary Scientific and Charitable Societies Registration Act, 1955.The Journey began and is continuing under the various leaders of different units across Kerala. Various projects are initiated and conducted for developing the cultural and social talents of the youth. The Journey is being continued….
